New biocomposite products made from locally grown hemp and bioresin
Hemp2Comp (Hemp to Composites) is developing at least five new biocomposite products made from locally grown hemp and bioresin. The project aims to replace current glass fiber/polyester products with carbon-neutral and/or fully biobased hemp alternatives. It creates financial value in agriculture through crop diversification, addressing climate change. The project emphasizes collaboration and knowledge sharing across all sectors of the value chain, from hemp cultivation to finished products.
