Transitioning to a bio-based economy.
We provide holistic solutions capturing carbon, cleaning polluted soils and providing bio-based materials for a circular economy.
In order to restore the atmospheric carbon mass balance we need to fix CO2 at a massive scale and turn them into products that store the carbon for decades.
This versatile, fast-growing plant is at the center of our holistic solution, capturing CO2 and pollutants and being the basis for biobased materials.
Many lands are degraded either due to climate change or industrial agriculture. We restore lands organically with plants to make them available again for agriculture or other purposes.
Many places suffer from historical soil pollution. Plants can come to the rescue and help cleaning up soils in a sustainable way.
To fade out the dependence on fossil carbon, we need to start creating biobased products. For construction we provide wood and sandwich panels. For cities, industry and agriculture we provide traffic poles and biochar.
We aim to tackle multiple problems at the same time with solutions that are biobased, sustainable and circular.
Our products are wholly or partly derived from materials of biological origin, excluding materials embedded in geological formations and/or fossilized. We use Industrial hemp and mycelium.
Our products provide environmental, social and economic benefits while protecting public health and environment over their whole life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials until the final disposal. We account for this by LCA and EPD, stimulate sustainable and transparent carbon credits that provide an improvement versus the baseline (business as usual)
Our products operate within the circular economy model, i.e. they have reduced or completely no need for virgin resources and are designed with the end of their life in mind. We strive for local (short supply chains), circular hubs and product design for reuse.
